The Great Shakespeare Ride 2016

BLUE Profile Managing Director, Wayne Kenward and his partner, Emma took on the Great Shakespeare Ride
With Wayne attempting the 61.1 miles (100Km) route and Emma completing the 40 miles (64.4Km) route.
Neither profess to be super fit or have "flash road bikes", just both on mountain bikes trying to help those in need of a little extra care in a time of need.

You can help us raise money for this great cause by donating a few pounds directly on our fundraising page

Upon finished Wayne added: "The event was amazing, really well organised and went through some of the most beautiful countryside.
About 650 cyclists entered in all, we all got some funny looks and comments about doing this on mountain bikes, but we hate taking the easy option.

Emma completed the 40 mile route in 3 ¼ hours and my 100Km route took me 6 ¼ hours to complete. I’ve attached a couple of photos and the route details below, check the hills out on the 100km route, I’m sorry to say I did walk some of them.

We will both be doing the 100Km next year and maybe, just maybe something a little longer."

Raising over £600 so far with very kind donations, money the hospice will put to great use in helping those that don’t have long to live.

For those that haven’t sponsored and still want to, Wayne and Emma's Just Giving page is still live
